SWPONL invites you to submit an application to be featured as a podium presenter at the 2026 conference.  Please read through the guidelines below for application requirements, the timeline, and a link to the application.

Guidelines

Submissions should provide content on a focused topic related to nursing leadership, quality and safety, or education and innovation for the nurse leader audience.

Please be sure to have the following information prepared before filling out the application:

• Podium presentation title
• Presentation summary (300 words or less - it can be an outline)
• Learning objectives
• Audiovisual requirements

Podium presenters will be given 15 minutes to present and five minutes for questions, a total of 20 minutes. 

Requirements, if selected:

• The presenter(s) will register in full to attend and present at the conference. All presenters who attend the SWPONL Annual Conference for Nurse Leaders are responsible for registration fees and all other expenses incurred. There are no reimbursements for presenters.

NOTE: You are welcome to submit both a podium abstract and an expertise proposal; however, to maximize opportunities for conference participation, individuals will be selected for only one presentation format.

Deadlines:

• Podium presentation application submissions: Monday, April 27 2026
• Notification: Friday, May 22, 2026
• PowerPoint presentation: Friday, August 7, 2026
